In 1998 Cougar Upton began apprenticing with a high end remodeling contractor in Marin County, CA. There he learned advanced construction skills in a variety of trades. Remodeling soon proved to be an environment considerably more challenging & rewarding than building new homes.

After working for an architectural and electrical engineering firm as a designer, then as a project manager overseeing all aspects of building multi-million dollar custom homes, the transition back to "hands on" construction occurred when a friend wanted help remodeling her home. This led to a thriving home renovation & repair business built on word of mouth references that has continued to this day.
